A country I’d like to visit

  

 

Since I was a little girl, I have dreamed of knowing Chile from north to south, but if ask me about other countries, one that always called my attention has been Haiti, since always it has talked about their crisis and problems since the 2010 earthquake, but not about their history or its landscapes and monuments. This was the first independent country of Latin America, although at a very high cost with France, today, impoverished by so many political and economic crises and natural disasters. Even if is a poor country and with a discontent society because inequality and corruption, owns natural and historical resources, like Bassin Bleu, Citadel of Laferrière, Île de la Tortue, among others that I’d love to visit.

    I think I could live there for a few months to study its history and the perceptions of its inhabitants. Also, I’d like to do volunteer works, help as many children and families as possible.

    I hope to visit Haiti in a few more years.

    I find incredible the reasons why you want to know Haiti, I hope you can go help and travel as much as possible, in addition, I also hope you can know all of Chile!

    Your reasons for wanting to go to Haiti are very noble and admirable, hopefully one day you will be able to visit Haiti and help many people. Good blog!

    I am very excited to read your intentions to travel to Haiti, personally I do not know much about this country but what you tell us gives me motivation to look for more about it.

    Haití probably will have a new constitution, this will be a solution for the crisis? I don't know, it's a poor country, but, with very friendly and hard working people

    I once read an historic novel called "the sound of the drums", it was about the independence process in Haiti, It is a country with a remarcable history and traditions, I would love to visit so i can learn more about it.

TV Shows and Series

  Every now and then I change my favourite series -is like with the songs- the last before the current, was “Atypical” one of the best series that I´ve ever watch on Netflix. I loved this series because it has comic moments and others very emotional and it could keep my attention for many hours as well as my actual favourite series, “Bizim Hikaye” or “Our Story” in English. This is a Turkish series of 2018 that transmitted this year in a national channel (CHV) at 1a.m.! Too late! So, with my mom looked for Facebook pages the complete series, until we find optimovision.tv in which can find many others soap operas. Well, we didn’t take too long to finish it, although have 178 episodes. This is my favourite series because it shows the true love of family, everyday situations of a big family and the effort made by the oldest of six siblings to move them forward and stay together. My Future Job

Until now, my only contract job has been in a pizzeria, mainly in customer service. I like that, but it’s not ideal job for the rest of my life. I study public administration currently, but I feel strongly that when I finish this career I will continue to study and specialize in childhood-related issues to later work on child welfare, from public institutions. I have always wanted to work on something that contributes to society and allows for change and I think public administration is the right career. I imagine an indoors work but that allows me to travel all over Chile, meets the different realities of the people (specially the children’s), and share with them. I imagine it as an unrecognized work, like those that don't make you famous. About salary… I don´t expect too much, enough to cover basics needs of a family, indulge yourself, and save money in case of emergency and for vacations. Also, I would like to have an administrative job that allows me spent time with my fami...
